In mid 2014, We founded 42 labs that would go on to publish it’s first product – 42. Our iconic floating the question story represented us as a logo.
The team contained 3 co founders Abhilash KV, Kishore Kumar and Myself. While Abhilash and Kishore would contribute to translating concepts and ideas into meaningful features and define them, I would evolve these designs to functional interface. Jerry John Jacob was our man handling all the server tasks, organizing content and feeding the front end with relevant data. We were aiming at an iOS leg to start with.
We validated the idea with users with the crudest prototype and also involving them in questionnaires, discussions, card sorting exercises and brain storming sessions. While the idea was not to give the users exactly what they ask for, it helped us understand the relevance of a product of our intend and how it can impact people on a day-to-day basis.
