Anaglyphic First Person Shooter

This first person shooter was the first attempt on PC game development. It is a simple FPS with random targets that appear around the corner as the player moves around the map. The game has been developed entirely using Panda3D.

The motion of the player is controlled with the help of an accelerometer which is interfaced to the computer with the help of an Arduino Duemilanove. The player is made to wear a helmet like head-gear onto which the accelerometer and Arduino are attached.

The actions performed by the player are voice activated. Simple commands like shoot and jump triggers corresponding actions. Voice recognition has been completely done using SphinxKeys, a speech recognition toolkit developed and maintained by Carnegie Mellon University.
